FW16 Runway Python Skin Boots

Haider Ackermann created many "grails" throughout his career. Especially the bomber jackets from 2014-2015 created a huge buzz in the industry and left a big mark on what was to follow. But something that has always been underrated is his insane talent at footwear. There are only very few shoes from him that get the "popularity" they deserve. This one is one of the exceptions. It was seen all over the FW16 Runway Show, was beautifully worn by celebrities like Luka Sabatt and received "grail" status after not too much time. They feature a beautiful western silhouette with a more flat toe than usual haider boots. But what makes this shoe so special is the crazy snakeskin material that was used on the body, which is complimented with gold elements beneath it. You can hardly stunt more with a boot than with these. 

the Collection

Compared to it‘s Spring / Summer predecessor Fall / Winter 2016 saw a return to his dark and mysterious roots. Heavy velvet and wool fabrics in deep blues, bold blacks and dusty golds were present through out the whole collection. Besides the long and sharp coats we saw the return of Haider’s beloved bomber jackets.
