VETEMENTS was founded by Royal Academy of Fine Arts graduate, Demna Gvasalia. After seven years at Maison Martin Margiela and Louis Vuitton, Gvasalia was playing with the idea of creating an innovative collective of friends and former colleagues that would focus on designing clothes they themselves wanted to wear.
