Fusion Sneakers

Bulky sneakers were one of the biggest trends of 2018 & still continue to be very popular in 2019. Maison Margiela probably released the most sophisticated version to date with these Fusion sneakers.  The Design of the shoe is a reference to Margiela's deconstructed aesthetic that can be traced back to his work from the 1990's.
The shoes looks like it is put together from several parts of different shoes. You can recognize a toe box similar to an Air Force 1, parts of an Asics type model & parts of a mesh runner.
The sneakers are crafted from leather and mesh upper panelling, featuring translucent glue detailing, stitched duct tape panels and white painted mid-soles.

We consider these sneakers almost more like an art piece than a regular sneaker but while the design definitely won't be everyones cup of tea we still think that you can style very cool outfits with them. We would definitely pair these with a very wide pair of pants & an overall slouchy oversized fit.
