Collection

The Spring/Summer 2015 menswear collection by Hedi Slimane channeled the raw spirit of Los Angeles rock culture through a lens of Parisian tailoring precision. The season distilled sun bleached rebellion and late night glamour into garments that felt both effortless and deliberately composed.

Lightweight outerwear set the tone. Slim cut leather jackets with minimal hardware, unstructured linen blazers and cropped denim trucker jackets formed the backbone of the collection. Flowing silk shirts in muted florals and animal prints offered a louche counterpoint to sharp suiting pieces.

Proportions stayed lean throughout. Cigarette trousers sat high on the waist while sleeveless knits and tank tops revealed a vulnerability beneath the rock star armor. The palette moved between washed blacks, ivory, dusty rose and occasional bursts of metallic silver, capturing that moment where the desert meets the stage.
