FW17 Cropped Leather Patch Wool Bomber
The Piece
Editor's Note
This jacket showcases the darkness that Haider's Fall Winter 2017 collection brought. It features a super soft brown wool, with patches of tribal symbols on the front. The inside layer consists of a navy flannel fabric that was used throughout the collection. It is a very great example of Haider's ability to mix street-style with high-class luxury.
Characteristics:
- Cropped Fit
- Brown Wool Body
- Blue Flanell Lining
- Black Suede Tribal Patches at the front
- Suede Stripe Detail at the back of the Sleeves
- Tonal Stitched Cross Detail at the Back
- Suede accents throughout the fron Zip
Fall / Winter 2017 counts as one of Haiders most underrated collections. The burned velvet/wool jackets and vests with the matching trousers are highly saught after collector items and retailed for an insane amount.
The collection was heavily inspired by the british punk movement, featuring dark tartans and sharp houndstooth patterns through out the collection. Even though this collection was a bit more street and less luxurious on first sight, when having the garments in hand one can immedietly tell that Haider once again delivered with this season.
