For many of the brand's enthusiasts, the Fall/Winter 2014 collection remains one of Haider Ackermann's best collections to date. Many of today’s “grail pieces” originate from this collection.
Heavy wool jacquard and tweed coats, vests, and trousers in dusty pinks, rich browns, and soft greys made up the majority of the collection. Iconic pieces like the \"Montalto\" trousers and thick striped wool shirts were first introduced here. Especially in the realm of sweaters and hoodies, FW14 was an unsurpassed pioneer. These pieces caught Kanye West's eye, inspiring some of his most iconic looks. The detail, quality, and fit of FW14 pieces are nothing short of exceptional - no wonder Kanye drew much of his "Yeezy" inspiration from these foundational Haider Ackermann designs.
