The Fall Winter 2014 menswear collection by Hedi Slimane presented a refined interpretation of Saint Laurent’s rock aesthetic. Outerwear played a central role. Long tweed coats, mohair checks, metallic herringbone fabrics and animal patterns appeared alongside sharp leather blazers and embroidered bombers. The palette mixed deep black and grey with flashes of red, gold and metallic green. Details such as narrow ties, patterned scarves and polished boots added structure to the otherwise fluid silhouettes.
