Miuccia Prada has always been one of those designers who enjoys referencing her past collections. Fall/Winter 2018, reintroduced some iconic archival prints like the rose print from FW05, a banana print from SS11 and a lipstick print from SS00, all exquisitely pieced together with other designs.
The highlight of the collection were the short sleeve shirts with split prints and quickly gained a lot of popularity and social media attention, due to the likes of Jeffrey Goldblum, Pusha T and more. It’s safe to say, that just like every other collection, by looking to the past, Prada managed to capture the zeitgeist.
