These hand painted brogue derbies are a true collector’s piece. Made from supple calf leather, the classic silhouette is defined by traditional perforations and refined stitching. Each pair is individually painted by hand, giving the surface a rich, evolving patina that makes every shoe unique.

Inspired by English shoemaking traditions, the design blends timeless elegance with a modern, understated edge. As a 1 of 1 sample, these derbies were never mass produced, making them a rare find for collectors who value craftsmanship and individuality.

Collection

Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Spring/Summer 2018 explored Hollywood horror and the American Dream through a collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation, featuring prints from his "Death and Disaster" series, car crashes, electric chairs, ambulance disasters, alongside portraits of Sandra Brant and Dennis Hopper. Mid-century American couture silhouettes were reinterpreted in industrial materials like nylon, specially-molded Ohio rubber, and hand-painted leather, with surfaces intentionally distressed, rubber-stamped, and splattered. Lumberjack checks appeared on tailored men's suits, oversized pom-poms adorned fringed dresses and handbags, and nightgowns became evening gowns in fishnet and silk.

The palette of safety orange, yellow, red, and black emphasized what Simons called "a celebration of American horror and American beauty" acknowledging darkness alongside glamour.
