The dark red rose shirt features a red front, with a pattern of leafs in the wind, and a patch of Frankenstein’s rose coming out of „the spark“ which according to the symbolism of the novel, is what makes us run, wether its electricity or a soul, on the right chest. The back print features Victor Frankenstein’s Fist at the part where he dies on North Pole.
For Fall Winter 2019, Prada decided to make an exceptional statement on Milan’s Runway, with their Universal Studios Collaboration. The basis of the design was the Gothic horror novel by Mary Shelley, in which the title character Victor Frankenstein creates a monster through an unorthodox experiment. Muiccia Prada revealed that Shelley's novel first spoke to her when she found out that the writer had published her story anonymously because of her gender. Her main goal with this season's collection was to express the "ideas of reaching billing point, anger and despair". The collaboration brought out some of the most fascinating and unique graphic short-sleeve shirts of the last few years.
